DocBoss allows users to upload documents manually to cards that are set to Compilation. Once uploaded the next submission will be the document that has been uploaded (DocBoss will not re-generate). There is a “manually uploaded” flag for compilation cards, by default this flag is set to No. It will be changed to Yes in the situations described below and once that flag changes to Yes, these cards are skipped from further regeneration (during transmittals etc) until the flag is set back to No.
Lets use an example, you send the Compilation to your customer for Review. Assuming you have followed the steps above to attach the card(s) to the applicable compilation, then the manually uploaded flag on the card will be set to No.
1 If you upload and assign the returned compilation from source = Customer and set to a status that is stage complete
Even if you manually change the status from a stage complete status to a non-stage complete status – the manually uploaded flag will remain set to Yes. In this case while you are assigning you will get a warning.
2 If you upload and assign a new document using incoming source Sub-Supplier or Internal
Anytime the manually uploaded flag for a card has been set to Yes you can edit the card and reset to No.
